Director, walmart fulfillment services and walmart connect

We are seeking an experienced Director to join our Walmart India Cross Border Trade team to build and scale the functions of Walmart Fulfillment services (WFS) and Walmart Connect within our group. This role holder will shape the strategy, create and refine processes to drive operational excellence, and hire and develop a team of early-career sales professionals for these functions. We are looking for a leader with experience in managing and leading supply chain/logistics/distribution services within the e Commerce space and understanding / experience of digital media sales (retail media experience is a bonus). This leader should also have experience building new teams and businesses within established companies and a track record of exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Support India sellers’ cross border logistics needs and drive seller shipping efficiency and cost savings. This will include supporting Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) adoption rate, improving seller outbound logistics efficiency and helping plan inventories to optimize sales. Act as a liaison between India sellers and Walmart Fulfillment Services, Marketplace Solutions and Walmart Supply Chain. Support key initiatives that allow India sellers to leverage Walmart Supply Chain and Logistics competitive advantage. Optimize logistics performance to ensure we execute our seller fulfillment operations flawlessly. Defining vision and strategies applying domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases and approving objectives. Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs. Hire and develop a team of early-career sales professionals to support newly activated and existing Marketplace sellers Shape the business strategy for supporting and growing advertisers and helping them succeed on Marketplace Create and refine business processes that improve the productivity and throughput of the sales team Identify and address key issues impacting advertisers’ performance and experience with WMC Sponsored Products Possess strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, collaborative and innovative spirit, and comfort dealing with ambiguity Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and managing high-performing teams Proven track record of driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships Deep understanding of e Commerce fundamentals and trends Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into client value Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment Leadership experience in introducing new performance measures, processes, and systems to achieve operational excellence Ability to move fast, be bold, and adapt in a dynamic environment Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
