If this appeals to you, please read onJob Title: Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Bengaluru, IndiaResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Drive the improvement of the manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, cost, and on-time delivery.Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing of sub-assemblies and final assemblies.Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products. Launches, releases, approves and implements or issues engineering change requests as required to support design engineering and Operations with new and existing products.Reviews new designs for manufacturability and makes recommendations to design engineering on manufacturability (DFMA) improvements.Conduct effective supplier visits in evaluating and managing new and existing suppliers.Direct and independently manage manufacturing process/quality implementation of required changes and modifications at suppliers.Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Uses DFx principles to reduce manufacturing and/or product costs, and improve delivered product quality.Qualifications:B.E in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.4-6 years of experience in Equipment Manufacturing / Medical devices /Aerospace / Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry.Solid understanding of electrical systems, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.Highly proficient at using hand and power tools.Experience in ISO Certification is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in cross-functional teams.Compensation:YES offers a stimulating and fun working environment, competitive salaries and benefits, and long-term incentives.Additional Information:YES is an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity.
