Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Architect/Manager to lead our quality assurance (QA) efforts and drive the development of robust testing strategies for our software products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in test architecture and management, with expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive testing frameworks. This role involves overseeing the testing lifecycle, ensuring the highest quality of software delivery, and managing a team of QA professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with product requirements and business objectives.

Define testing goals, methodologies, and processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Architecture Design: Develop and maintain test architecture, including test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.

Ensure the architecture supports scalability, maintainability, and reusability. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and testers.

Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance and capabilities.

Oversee the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and tools. Promote best practices in test automation to increase efficiency and coverage. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies. I

mplement best practices and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the QA process. Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability.

Monitor and analyze performance bottlenecks, providing recommendations for improvements Architect and Implement testing frameworks and environments Understanding of end to end QA strategies for Functional, Performance, Manual and API Testing Experience in testing Cloud and Microservices Develop and maintain performance test scripts and framework to support continues performance testing Design and document performance test plans, workload models and performance metrics Monitor and analyze performance bottlenecks, providing recommendations for improvements

Should have experience on Load Runner, Jmeter and other industry leading performance test tools Good to have Experience with APM (Application Performance Management) tool Identify potential risks and issues related to software quality. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Reporting and Metrics: Monitor and report on testing progress, including test results, defect metrics, and quality indicators. Provide insights and recommendations for improving software quality. Ensure that testing processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Implement controls to maintain the integrity and security of the testing process.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s , Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10-12 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven track record of designing and implementing test strategies and architectures. Technical Skills: Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber). Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) and programming languages (e.g., Java, C#) is a plus. Should have experience on Load Runner, Jmeter and other industry leading performance test tools Good to have Experience with APM (Application Performance Management) tool Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving quality objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in testing and quality assurance processes.
