Team Lead (Data Engineering) Position

Job Type: The role is based in-office located in Bengaluru.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead in Data Engineering to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in data engineering, and expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 years of experience in the field, ready to lead our data engineering projects towards success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems.
  • Drive the development of new data products and services, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate systems and streamline data flows to enhance data quality and accessibility.
  • Develop scalable and efficient data pipelines that can process large volumes of data using Python, Java, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of the company's data assets through effective design and implementation practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data engineering to adopt best practices and technologies.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • Solid experience with core skills including data engineering, Python, Java, and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA).
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, maintain, and scale effective data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems, ETL frameworks, and cloud services related to data processing.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving technical excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
