Job Description :


As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our data-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data engineering solutions that support our analytics and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

- Develop and implement data engineering strategies and best practices.

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading into data warehouses or data lakes.

- Create and maintain data models that effectively represent our business data.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to understand their data requirements and provide solutions.

- Leverage big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to process and analyze large datasets.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.

- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
