About the RoleThe Director, Web & Mobile Product Engineering will lead a large team (150+) in Pune to design, build, and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure web and mobile applications. This role requires a blend of technical depth, product mindset, and strategic leadership to ensure engineering outcomes align with business goals. The Director will define and drive the product roadmap , oversee end-to-end product lifecycle , implement Dev Sec Ops and Agile best practices , and ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. A key part of the role includes building and nurturing teams , collaborating with senior leadership, and shaping digital transformation initiativesMust-Have SkillsExperience : Around 20 years of overall experience in software product engineering.Leadership : Proven track record of managing large teams (50–100 employees) across engineering and testingTechnical Expertise :Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Microservices architecture, modern web/mobile technologies.Dev Sec Ops and Agile deliveryProduct Engineering : Demonstrated success in scaling digital products and platforms with measurable business impact. This person will be leading team of Engineering and Testing.Lifecycle Management : Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Dev Ops methodologies and product lifecycle practices.Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication and ability to engage with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.Team Building : Ability to build teams (preferred - from scratch ) develop leadership pipelines, and drive organizational development. )Good-to-Have (Preferred)Healthcare exposure – understanding US healthcare platforms, HIPAA compliance, data privacy, interoperability (HL7, FHIR).Digital/AI – familiarity with AI in digital products.
