About the Role
As the Fundraising & Partnerships Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial sustainability and growth of NSRCEL by building strong partnerships, securing funding, and driving innovative fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic roadmap to support both existing and new partnerships, focusing on scaling NSRCEL’s mission of creating nation-wide impact in entrepreneurship. If you enjoy digging into data, generating leads, reducing turnaround times, writing compelling proposals, and bringing creativity to presentations – this role is for you
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Gen & Donor Analysis: Generate leads through various media channels, identify potential donors, and manage data recording and analysis to support our fundraising efforts.
- Proposal Writing & Grant Applications: Develop high-quality proposals, grant applications, and sponsorship pitches. Research funding opportunities from a variety of sectors, including corporates, government, and international foundations.
- Event Management: Plan and execute high-impact fundraising events such as donor round tables, startup showcases, and investor meetups. Leverage these platforms to engage current donors and attract new partnerships.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, finance, and incubation teams to integrate fundraising strategies into broader organizational objectives. Develop donor-facing marketing materials, reports, and social media campaigns.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare reports, newsletters, and updates to communicate the impact of donations and partnerships, ensuring stakeholders are engaged with NSRCEL’s progress and successes.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in fundraising, partnerships, or business development roles, preferably in the non-profit, social impact, or startup sectors.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, non-profit management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Fundraising Expertise: Demonstrated interest and experience in assisting to secure large-scale funding from corporates, foundations, or government sources
- Event Management: Experience in organizing and executing related donor engagement/other events.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems, fundraising software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with digital fundraising platforms is a plus.
