Area of Responsibility: Estimation Engineer - Transmission Line/ Substations- Understand the group dynamism and help Estimation Manager for completing the estimation work- Analyse blue print and other documentation to prepare time , cost, materials, and labour estimates- Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as projects develop- Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and schedule work- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction managers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues- Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures- Establish and maintain tendering process and conduct negotiationsSkills:- Good communications skills – spoken and written.- Site Experience is added advantage.- Transmission Line experience is must.- Excel/ Power Point/ MSP- Sound knowledge in transmission work(foundation, tower erection, stringing)
