JOB DESCRIPTION Position : Estimation Engineer Department Project Management (Engineering) Reporting to General Manager & Head Engineering (COE) Responsible for Providing all required Cost Estimation supports to the Engineering & Project Management Team. Location HO Mumbai Role Purpose: To manage & provide all cost estimation & bidding supports in close co- ordination with HO engineering, project and biding teams etc as per below details. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for cost preparation of Civil Building, Mechanical package, Piping, Insulation, Painting & Electrical costing and Present to Management. Attending Proposal Launching meeting. Study of Tender/Bid Documents specification related to project. Coordination with Project, Engineering & BD Team for required inputs for costing. Preparing list of queries/clarification required from client/other departments for estimation of direct & indirect cost. Enquiries Preparation, enquiry floating in market and coordinating with Vendor and Sub-vendors for offers. Preparation of in-house cost based on Material, Labour, Equipment etc. Preparing Contractility for Heavy lifting equipments plan. Bid evaluation, preparing bid tabulation and estimation of Direct & Indirect Cost based on the offers received & Inhouse costing TBE & CBE etc. Negotiation with Subcontractors and Vendors to ensure the best possible costing. Compiling deliverables such as Construction Execution Plan, equipment and manpower deployment schedule, sub-contracting plan and other documents. Estimating manpower for supervision at site for LSTK services. Identifying and addressing all risk and contingency situations arising during the project lifecycle. Compilation of Cost Summary. Preparation of Cost Database for ensure and accurate costing. Track the actual project cost against estimated budget and provide the reports to HOD and management team.
