Job Title : Manual Test Engineer Location : Ramanujan IT City, Chennai (Onsite working Model) Availability : Immediate Joiner Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for both web and mobile applications. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and create test plans that ensure full coverage. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify and document defects. Analyze and troubleshoot defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues. Develop and maintain test documentation , including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Assist in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium , JMeter , or similar frameworks. Participate in test planning , risk analysis, and provide inputs for improving testing strategies. Execute manual and automation test cases to validate the quality of the software across different environments. Continuously improve testing processes by identifying opportunities for automation. Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained. Required Skills & Qualifications : 5-8 years of experience in manual testing with some exposure to automation testing . Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test processes . Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and system testing . Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports . Exposure to automation tools like Selenium , TestNG , JMeter , or other frameworks. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, working closely with developers and product teams. Good understanding of bug tracking systems like JIRA , Bugzilla , or similar. Experience with version control systems like Git . Preferred Qualifications : Basic knowledge of Java or Python for writing automated test scripts. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests with them. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI .
