Job Title: Manual Test Engineer

Location: Ramanujan IT City, Chennai (Onsite working Model)

Availability: Immediate Joiner


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for both web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and create test plans that ensure full coverage.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify and document defects.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
  • Assist in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar frameworks.
  • Participate in test planning, risk analysis, and provide inputs for improving testing strategies.
  • Execute manual and automation test cases to validate the quality of the software across different environments.
  • Continuously improve testing processes by identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in manual testing with some exposure to automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and test processes.
  • Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and system testing.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
  • Exposure to automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, or other frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, working closely with developers and product teams.
  • Good understanding of bug tracking systems like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Java or Python for writing automated test scripts.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests with them.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
