We are Modelia, and we’re turning the fashion world on its head with our SaaS platform, where cutting-edge artificial intelligence transforms flatlay and mannequin product images into hyper-realistic visuals with AI-generated models, backgrounds, and videos. By leveraging these evocative, high-quality images, our clients elevate their brand perception, boost aesthetic appeal in their fashion eCommerce, and see significant increases in conversion rates, all without the traditional costs of a full-scale production.

At Modelia, we’re a passionate team of engineers with a crystal-clear mission: to build the ultimate Studio to generate fashion visuals . 

Our platform constantly evolves to meet the demands of our users, who are always hungry for new features and improvements. That is why we’re seeking two talented and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineers to help us redefine what’s possible in AI-driven fashion design.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, YOU'LL BE AT THE FOREFRONT of researching, developing and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning models and processes, with a focus on diffusion models for image generation in the fashion domain.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models, particularly diffusion models, for fashion image generation.
  • Implement and fine-tune computer vision algorithms for fashion-specific tasks.
  • Continuously improve model performance and efficiency.
  • Enhance model performance and efficiency while ensuring high-quality, fast-running software.
  • Keep pace with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, specifically in image generation.
  • Make a direct impact on the visuals our users create and on the tools they have at their fingertips.

Your Required Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning and computer vision techniques
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing and optimising computer vision algorithms in PyTorch or similar frameworks. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Driven to create innovative AI features that amaze and inspire the fashion industry

Ideally you would also have:

  • Experience with diffusion models, preferably the Diffusers library
  • Experience with Docker containerization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with ComfyUI, or Automatic 1111.
