Job Title: Lead – Investor Relations

Qualifications Required: Chartered Accountant (CA), or MBA (Finance) or CFA

Experience Required: Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience in Investor Relations / Corporate Finance / Capital Markets, preferably in the renewable energy / manufacturing / infrastructure sector or a publicly listed company.

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead our Investor Relations (IR) function. You will be the bridge between Websol’s senior leadership and the investment community — shaping, communicating, and protecting our investment narrative; ensuring timely, credible and transparent disclosures; and enhancing investor confidence to support capital raising, valuation improvements and alignment with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Messaging

• Define and own the IR strategy in alignment with the company’s growth trajectory, including both current operations and future greenfield projects.
• Craft and polish the company’s investment case: articulating strategy, financial modelling, growth drivers, competitive advantages, risk profile, etc.

• Disclosure, Reporting & Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee preparation and publication of quarterly/annual financial results, investor presentations, analyst briefings; ensure full compliance with stock exchange / SEBI / relevant regulatory norms.
• Manage regulatory filings related to IR; ensure they are timely, accurate and transparent.
• Handle production of corporate documents like the annual report, ESG/sustainability reporting, and other stakeholder disclosures

• Investor & Analyst Engagement

• Build and foster relationships with institutional investors, analysts, rating agencies, prospective investors and other capital-market stakeholders.
• Lead roadshows, investor conferences, analyst meetings, earnings calls, AGMs, etc.
• Respond to investor queries or feedback promptly and clearly, especially around performance, forecasts, risk etc.

• Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop

• Monitor market trends, peer performance, analyst expectations, and investor/shareholder sentiment.
• Provide insights to senior management / Board on what the markets expect, what investors are concerned about, and what changes could enhance valuation or confidence.

• Support for Corporate Actions & Growth Initiatives

• Assist in capital raising efforts, M&A, IPOs / secondary offerings / QIPs, greenfield expansions, ensuring project rationale, financials, risk, returns are clearly communicated.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, strategy, etc., for these initiatives.

• Communication & Internal Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Communications / PR, Corporate Governance to ensure consistency, accuracy and alignment in messaging.
• Prepare senior leadership / Board for investor / analyst interactions – mock Q&A, media training where necessary.

• Crisis / Reputation Management

• Be prepared for adverse events (earnings shortfalls, regulatory issues, negative media coverage) with response plans. Ensure prompt and transparent communication in such circumstances.

Other expertise:

• Demonstrated track record of managing investor / analyst relations, regulatory disclosures, capital raising, and board / senior leadership reporting.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of integrity, transparency, and credibility.
