  • Location : Tiruppur

  • Reports to : VP - Process innovation


Basic Checklist:

  • Should have thorough knowledge in knitted garments constructions (technical) and patterns. 
  • Should have a strong communication skill to handle the technical teams of our customers. 
  • Should have good leadership skills to manage a dozen Technicians and the sampling division. 
  • Should have the experience handling top brands in the industry. 


Job Responsibilities - Senior Manager Sampling & Technical Head

  • Human Management - Lead & mentor the team of Pattern Makers, Quality controllers and Technicians who manage the Sampling operations.
  • Creating the right Process flow & SOPs for the Sampling division.
  • Technical Guidance - Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sampling team,
  • including pattern makers, cutters, sewers, and quality control personnel, to resolve
  • technical issues.
  • New Product Development - Collaborate with design and development teams to
  • translate design concepts into feasible garment prototypes, providing guidance to them
  • on the construction techniques.
  • Quality Assurance - Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and
  • procedures to ensure that finished garments meet quality standards, including fit, construction and aesthetic appeal. Thus reducing the cost of rework / remake in the sampling division.
  • Knowledge transfer to the bulk production teams - Facilitate knowledge transfer to bulk production teams by establishing effective handover procedures from the sampling phase to bulk production teams including detailed risk-analysis protocols.
  • Process Improvement - Continuously analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, such as streamlining operations, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization, and implement corrective measures as needed with the help of the Industrial Engineer.
  • Skill development - Preparing the skill matrix of the team with the help of Industrial Engineer and continuously work on up-skilling the workforce.
  • Indus 4.0 - Collaborate with the internal team and help them on the digital transformation and improve visual management of the factory.

10. Budget Management - Collaborate with the management team to develop and manage budgets for technical operations, including capital expenditure planning, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
