Role Overview
This full-time position as a News Editor is based in Delhi, India, and reports directly to our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in news writing, journalism, and editorial processes. A strong understanding of digital media, new journalism, and social responsibility is essential for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assign, edit, and fact-check news stories to ensure high-quality content.
- Work closely with the editorial team to generate story ideas, maintain accuracy, and uphold quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry insiders, sources, and contacts.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Mastery of news writing, journalism, and editorial processes.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with digital media and new journalism.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
