JoinersJob DescriptionSkillset/Technologies:Database Technologies: MSSQL DB, Iceberg, Startbust/Trino, PostgreSQL (Maintenance, performance tuning, backups/restores, purging, high availability, data refresh)Containerization: Kubernetes and DockerOperating Systems: Linux commands, Windows (password resets, logon changes, installations, task schedulers, etc.)Automation: Shell scripting, PowerShell, Ansible (for developing/maintaining scripts for Postgres deployment)Monitoring and Management Tools: Dynatrace, Rancher, ElasticSearchSupport: Handling RFCs and incidents, supporting the SA team with monthly Windows and Linux patchingRole/Responsibilities:Database Administration, Operations support for production/lower environmentHandling any infrastructure-related issues and deploying RFCs.Coordinating with the Dev team, SA team, QA team, and Hadoop team to ensure the smooth operation of applications.
