Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior AI Product Manager with a focus on Generative AI to lead the development and growth of AI-powered products. You will spearhead efforts to define and execute strategies that leverage advanced Generative AI technologies, such as deep learning models, large language models (LLMs), and other AI-driven systems, to build innovative solutions. As a key leader in the product team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to bring cutting-edge AI products from concept to market.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Generative AI Product Strategy & Vision: Define the strategic vision for generative AI products that leverage models such as GPT, DALL-E, or other content-generating AI systems to address specific market needs and opportunities.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation, research, and prototyping to development, launch, and continuous iteration of generative AI products.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data science, engineering, and design teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into scalable products. Ensure alignment between AI models and real-world business requirements.
Market Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth market research on generative AI applications, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
User-Centric Approach: Lead user research to understand customer needs and ensure AI solutions deliver impactful user experiences. Advocate for personalization and intuitive interfaces powered by AI.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics to measure product performance and drive iterative improvements. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specifically for generative AI features.
Ethical AI Development: Ensure that generative AI products are developed in an ethical, transparent, and unbiased manner, and comply with privacy and regulatory standards.
Mentorship & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior product managers and cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence in generative AI.
Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams, to align product strategies with business objectives and provide updates on AI product advancements.
Qualifications:
Experience : 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years specifically focused on AI or Generative AI products. Experience with large-scale AI-driven products is essential.
Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of generative AI technologies such as GPT (language models), GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), or other deep learning-based models. Familiarity with tools like Open AI, Hugging Face, or other generative AI frameworks.
Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success in launching AI-powered products to market.
Analytical Thinking : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret data from AI systems and apply it to business strategies.
Customer Focus : Strong customer-centric approach with a deep understanding of user needs, particularly in applications of generative AI.
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Project Management : Ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritizing them effectively to deliver results on time.
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related. An advanced degree (MBA or relevant technical field) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in building AI applications that create content, such as text, images, or videos.
Experience working with advanced AI/ML tools such as Tensor Flow, Py Torch, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with AI ethics and data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, especially in the context of generative AI.
Proven ability to drive personalization and customization features using generative AI.
Experience scaling generative AI products from prototype to commercial success.
