**Job Title: Senior Cypress Test Engineer****Location:** Banglaore/Gurgaon/Chennai/Hyderabad**Job Type:** Full time**Notice Period:** Immediate to 30 Days**Job Summary:**We are seeking an experienced Cypress Lead with 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading automation efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. As a Cypress Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing test automation frameworks, primarily using Cypress to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Cypress.- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver quality testing solutions.- Develop and execute automated test scripts for both UI and API testing, ensuring thorough coverage.- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for test automation and quality assurance.- Establish and enforce automation testing standards and practices within the team.- Analyze test results, create reports, and present findings to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.- Identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations in the test automation process.- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies; evaluate new automation tools and frameworks as necessary.- Participate in code reviews and ensure the highest coding standards are maintained.- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.-6+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with at least3 years of experience specifically in Cypress.- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.- Proficiency in JavaScript (or TypeScript) and familiarity with frameworks like Mocha or Chai.- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Experience with Agile methodologies.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience with performance and load testing tools.- Knowledge of accessibility testing principles.- Familiarity with mobile testing using Cypress or other related tools.- Experience in leading or managing teams is a plus.
