We are seeking a talented & experienced Developer with expertise in backend

development using Python-based Django framework & especially in Wagtail CMS Development.

Job Overview:

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Python & Django Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of Wagtail CMS and its integration with Django.
  • Should have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly websites.
  • Proficiency in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Must be well-versed in the latest JavaScript libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of Wagtail CMS Libraries.
  • Develop theme-based dynamic templates in Wagtail CMS based on the UI/UX design & implement the same in the backend for content updation.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git / SVN).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good understanding of SQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite & Implement and maintain database models and relationships.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs & develop web applications using the Django framework
  • Knowledge of front-end languages to create seamless user experiences
  • Knowledge of GIGW 3.0 guidelines is an added extra advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and front-end developers.
  • Design, create, and implement web applications
  • Create tests to identify and fix bugs in software
  • Utilize the Django framework to design and implement Python code
  • Check for incorrectly written code and debug it
  • Design and implement Python code using the Django framework.
  • Identify and fix bottlenecks that may arise from inefficient code.
  • Identify and fix software bugs.
  • Optimize Django applications for speed and efficiency.
  • Create a wide variety of unit tests to verify the functionality of software.
  • Manage the security of the Application.
