Blutic is looking for a QA Analyst - Level 2 with 4+ years of testing experience to perform manual and automation testing of data solutions (SSIS/SSRS/SQL Server) and working with Senior Developers.This role requires strong SQL skills, and the ability to collaborate with offshore developers and onshore teams in an Agile/Kanban environment.This is a 100% long term remote opportunity. The candidate should be willing to work in 9 hrs shift anywhere between 11am-11pm IST with an overlap of 3-4 hrs on Pacific time zone.Core Skills Required:4+ years in manual and automation testing of ETL/data warehouse projects (SSIS/SQL Server).Advanced SQL skills (joins, subqueries, data profiling).Experience with test automation (any tool: Selenium, Postman, etc.).Key Responsibilities1. Test Planning & ExecutionDesign and execute test cases for ETL processes (SSIS), reports (SSRS), and SQL databases.Perform data validation by writing complex SQL queries to verify source-to-target mappings.Document defects in Jira and track resolutions through collaboration with developers.2. Automation & ToolingDevelop and maintain basic automation scripts (e.g., Selenium, Python, or client-approved tools).Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for regression testing (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual tests3. CollaborationWork closely with offshore developers to reproduce and troubleshoot defects.Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and daily stand-ups.Maintain test documentation in Confluence (or a similar repository) for knowledge sharing.4. Compliance & Process ImprovementAdhere to client’s QA standards and security protocols (VDI, MFA).Suggest improvements to testing processes to achieve productivity gainsRequired Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsNice-to-Have:Exposure to Snowflake, API testing, or Power BI validation.Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.Soft SkillsStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a remote offshore model.Clear communication to collaborate across time zones.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Microsoft SQL) are a plus.Experience in financial/healthcare domains preferred
