Our platforms include: LENS View – Enterprise Video Management System (VMS) LENS View AI Video Analytics (ANPR, Crowd Analytics, Fire & Smoke, ITMS, Defence, School Safety) LENS ICCC & SCADA – Integrated Command & Control platforms LENS UNMS – Unified Network Management System LENS SAFER (सफर) – Fleet Tracking, Visitor & Gatepass Management Role Overview We are looking for a Native Android Developer to build and maintain production-grade Android applications used in real-world deployments , not consumer-only apps. You will work on: LENS View Mobile App LENS SAFER mobile workflows Alerts, approvals, monitoring, and field-level interactions This role requires strong fundamentals, ownership, and reliability . Key Responsibilities Android Application Development Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin . Implement features aligned with enterprise workflows such as: Alerts & notifications Dashboards & monitoring views Approval flows Field usage and operational screens Integration & Performance Integrate Android apps with backend APIs and real-time systems. Ensure app performance, stability, and responsiveness. Handle edge cases related to network latency, permissions, and device constraints. Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with: Backend engineers QA engineers Business Analysts Support teams Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and release planning. Maintenance & Improvement Fix bugs, improve performance, and enhance usability. Support production issues when required and ensure smooth releases. Required Skills & Experience 2–5 years of experience in native Android development . Strong proficiency in Kotlin . Experience with: REST APIs JSON-based data exchange Android SDK & Jetpack components Good understanding of: App lifecycle Permissions Background services Notifications Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience working on enterprise or B2B applications . Familiarity with: MVVM or similar architectures Real-time data handling Secure authentication flows Exposure to apps used in field operations or infrastructure environments . What This Role Is NOT Not a consumer-only or gaming app role. Not a UI-only implementation role. Not suitable for candidates who avoid production responsibility.
