Job Description: QA Automation Engineer Job Location: CoimbatoreExperience: 4 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright (Java Script) and Selenium (Java) . The candidate should have hands-on experience in automation framework development, API testing, and performance testing. Knowledge of Type Script is an added advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright (Java Script) .Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium Web Driver with Java .Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases.Implement test scripts using Maven for build and dependency management.Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter / k6 .Create, maintain, and execute API test cases using Postman / Rest Assured .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high-quality releases.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Git Hub Actions / Git Lab).Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports.Ensure adequate test coverage and continuous improvement of automation processes.Required Skills4+ years of QA Automation experience .Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Java Script) .Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver with Java .Strong knowledge of Maven for build management.Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter , k6 , or similar.Good understanding of Test NG / JUnit test frameworks.Strong experience in API testing using Postman / Rest Assured .Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines .Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies .Experience with Git , Jira , and test management tools (Test Rail, Zephyr).Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Type Script (added advantage).Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).Knowledge of Docker for environment setup.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Experience with reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
