Job Description: QA Automation Engineer Job Location: Coimbatore Experience: 4 Years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java) . The candidate should have hands-on experience in automation framework development, API testing, and performance testing. Knowledge of TypeScript is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript) . Build and maintain automation suites using Selenium WebDriver with Java . Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test cases. Implement test scripts using Maven for build and dependency management. Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter / k6 . Create, maintain, and execute API test cases using Postman / RestAssured . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios and ensure high-quality releases. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab). Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports. Ensure adequate test coverage and continuous improvement of automation processes. Required Skills 4+ years of QA Automation experience . Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript) . Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java . Strong knowledge of Maven for build management. Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter , k6 , or similar. Good understanding of TestNG / JUnit test frameworks. Strong experience in API testing using Postman / RestAssured . Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines . Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies . Experience with Git , Jira , and test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr). Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with TypeScript (added advantage). Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber). Knowledge of Docker for environment setup. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Experience with reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
