Job Title: Blue Prism Infrastructure Engineer


Job Summary: As a Blue Prism Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing the Blue Prism infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and operation of Blue Prism robotic process automation (RPA) solutions within the organization's IT environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the Blue Prism infrastructure, including services and connectors, to support RPA initiatives.
  • Configure and manage Blue Prism's Application Servers, ensuring efficient connection with runtime resources and databases.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of Blue Prism environments, including development, testing, and production stages.
  • Monitor the health and performance of the Blue Prism infrastructure, implementing improvements and optimizations as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the Blue Prism infrastructure complies with security policies and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to RPA developers and stakeholders regarding infrastructure-related issues and best practices.
  • Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and procedures to maintain a robust knowledge base.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing Blue Prism infrastructure, services, and connectors.
  • Strong understanding of how Application Servers connect with runtime resources and databases within the Blue Prism context.
  • In-depth knowledge of network architecture, database management, and IT security principles as they relate to RPA infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Blue Prism technical accreditation or certification.
  • Experience with other RPA tools and technologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
