Job Title: Professor of Marketing for a leading B-school Experience: 8 + Years Budget: 15 LPA Location: Kolkata Position Overview: The Professor will lead academic and research initiatives in their area of marketing for a leading B-school, contribute to curriculum development, mentor students and faculty, and uphold the institution’s academic standards. The role demands a commitment to teaching, research, and administrative leadership to advance the institution’s mission. Key Responsibilities : Deliver high-quality teaching at postgraduate levels, fostering critical thinking and academic excellence. Conduct cutting-edge research, publish in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE listed journals, and contribute significantly to the field. Mentor doctoral candidates and junior faculty, guiding them in research and academic development. Lead academic administration, including program coordination, curriculum design, and academic planning. Secure research grants, conduct executive education programs, or lead consultancy assignments to enhance institutional impact. Participate in institutional committees, contribute to policy development, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Engage in community outreach, industry partnerships, and knowledge dissemination activities. Required Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background : Ph.D. is preferred in a relevant field with consistently excellent academic records. Experience : Minimum of 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience. At least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent. Research Output : Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE listed journals, demonstrating significant contributions to the field is preferred. Mentorship and Leadership : Proven track record of mentoring doctoral candidates, leading academic administration, and contributing to curriculum design and academic planning. Additional Advantages : Experience in securing research grants, conducting executive education, or leading consultancy assignments is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in the relevant academic discipline with a strong research portfolio. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for teaching and mentorship.
