Job Title: Database Administrator Location: Bangalore Experience: 2-5 yrs Job Type: Contract to hire(Min 1+ yr) Notice Period: Immediate joiners Job Description: Key Responsibilities : Installation and Configuration: Setting up database instances according to defined standards and documentation. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring database performance, storage space, and logs for any issues. Basic Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving common database problems, such as connection errors or simple query issues. Backup and Recovery: Performing routine database backups and participating in recovery procedures. Performance Tuning: Assisting with basic performance tuning tasks, such as index management. Documentation: Documenting configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Security: Implementing and maintaining basic database security measures. Required Skills: Basic SQL Knowledge: Understanding of SQL syntax and database concepts. Experience with MSSQL, My SQL, and Postgre SQL: Familiarity with the core administration tools and concepts of each database platform. Operating System Knowledge: Understanding of the operating systems where databases are installed. Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to identify and resolve basic database issues.
