As we rapidly grow our newly launched product line, we're searching for passionate individuals who can make a difference and believe in rapid growth. We are looking for a Community and Events Lead who would love to get all things events done, planning tech events, managing end-to-end Event lifecycle, and community engagement over appropriate Events Planning.
We have so far done close to 400+ Events (Virtual and Offline) across Meetups, Hackathons, Conferences, AMAs, Webinars, Test Away, Fireside Chat, and a lot more. Includes 13 large-scale conferences. All in the Software Quality space where we operate.
Someone who is interested in Tech Events and Community for Tech professionals or has similar experience would be a right fit.
As a company that operates in the quality space, we have set high standards for ourselves in terms of the quality and output we produce for millions of testers who look up to us; we expect future Events and Community Ops professionals to have the same mindset.
Roles and Responsibilities
Helping Design the event calendar in advance
Speaker sourcing and finalization according to the Event Calendar
Getting the landing page material and publishing the landing page with a conversion-optimized design
Making events live across platforms like Own Website, Facebook, Linked In, Meetup, etc.
Looking at visitor landing page views and optimizing for higher conversion
Planning and executing Social Media campaigns for the events along with the Social Media Team
Planning and executing Email Marketing, Paid Marketing campaigns along with the growth team
Handling attendee communication to ensure high attendee turnout
Should be able to configure the event hosting platform
Scout and finalize potential event hosts
Help plan and execute live event social tweeting etc.
Plan and execute thank you for messaging, Gathering event feedback, and analyzing it to serve better.
Post-event event analytics to understand growth, engagement, retention, and persona.
Who is an ideal candidate?
1-5 year of Experience
Education-wise, a bachelor's degree is enough for this role. Although people with a Computer Science/Testing background will have an edge, but that should not stop anyone from a non-testing background from applying for a role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The candidate should be an extrovert when it comes to communicating with new people and should not hesitate to speak verbally/or in writing with new people.
Excellent team worker who can collaborate with different team members.
Overall, an aware person who keeps themselves updated about what is happening in the industry.
Prior Tech Events/Community Experience is a big plus
Multi-tasking ability is must
