Job Title: SAP CRM Technical Consultant
Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP CRM Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) technical areas, including configuration, customization, and integration. The SAP CRM Technical Consultant will work closely with functional consultants and business users to design, implement, and support technical solutions within the SAP CRM system, ensuring optimal system performance and seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP CRM System Configuration and Customization:
- Perform technical configuration and customization of SAP CRM modules, including SAP Interaction Center (IC), SAP Marketing, SAP Sales, SAP Service, and SAP CRM WebClient.
- Configure and customize workflows, business rules, and reports in SAP CRM based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain custom enhancements and modifications in the SAP CRM system, ensuring they align with business needs and processes.
- ABAP Development and Enhancements:
- Design and develop custom ABAP reports, function modules, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements specific to SAP CRM.
- Implement custom code for SAP CRM applications and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.
- Optimize and troubleshoot ABAP code to ensure high performance and efficient system behavior.
- Integration and Data Exchange:
- Work with functional consultants to integrate SAP CRM with other SAP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP C4C) and third-party applications using middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, IDOCs, BAPIs).
- Ensure smooth data transfer and synchronization between SAP CRM and other systems, including master data, transactional data, and service-related information.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing technical support for SAP CRM applications, addressing and resolving issues related to performance, functionality, and integration.
- Work on incident management and problem resolution, ensuring timely delivery of solutions and minimal business disruption.
- Perform regular system checks and diagnostics to identify potential issues and take preventive measures.
- Upgrades, Patches, and Maintenance:
- Assist in the planning and execution of SAP CRM system upgrades, patches, and support packages.
- Ensure that all technical components and custom developments are compatible with the new system versions and patches.
- Monitor and test new releases for potential impacts on existing customizations and integrations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all CRM-related developments, configurations, and integrations.
- Document system customizations, technical designs, and deployment procedures to ensure consistency and clarity for future troubleshooting and updates.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with functional SAP CRM consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Service) to ensure that the CRM system is aligned with business processes and objectives.
- Engage with external vendors and partners when necessary to resolve complex integration or customization issues.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP CRM features, technologies, and best practices.
- Propose solutions for improving system performance, user experience, and functionality.
- Drive innovation by suggesting enhancements that improve business processes and provide greater value to the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CRM, including technical configuration, ABAP development, and system integration.
- Solid understanding of SAP CRM modules such as SAP Sales, Marketing, Service, and Interaction Center (IC).
- Strong experience in ABAP development, including reports, function modules, user exits, BAPIs, and BADIs.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies like SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, IDocs, and web services.
- Knowledge of SAP CRM WebUI development is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA integration for CRM applications.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 for CRM-related UI development.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good knowledge of SAP CRM architecture and system landscape.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
