We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ETL DataStage Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using IBM DataStage, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data integration solutions in complex environments. Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using IBM DataStage to support business intelligence and data warehousing initiatives. Analyze source data and develop DataStage jobs for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Optimize performance of DataStage jobs and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability. Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Maintain and enhance existing DataStage jobs, ensuring data quality and adherence to best practices. Develop documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows. Implement data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms. Work within a team environment following Agile or Scrum methodologies. Stay updated with the latest DataStage features and industry trends related to data integration. 5+ years of experience in ETL development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using IBM DataStage. ~ Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and querying. ~ Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. ~ Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2. ~ Good understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security principles. ~ Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning. ~ Experience with other ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.) Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Certification in DataStage or related data management certifications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Total Experience Experience in DataStage- Ready to relocate to Mumbai-
