Designation- DV – Practice Head

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the Design Verification (DV) practice by building high-performing teams and driving technical excellence.
  • Define and implement advanced verification strategies, methodologies, and best practices for complex SoC, FPGA, and ASIC projects.
  • Collaborate with architecture, design, and product teams to ensure seamless verification planning and execution.
  • Mentor engineers in functional verification, UVM methodology, coverage-driven verification, testbench development, and debugging.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored verification solutions.
  • Own practice delivery including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and quality assurance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product management, and clients.
  • Drive recruitment, training, and retention initiatives to grow and nurture talent within the practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, VLSI, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Design Verification with strong hands-on expertise in UVM, SystemVerilog, Assertions (SVA), constrained-random, and coverage-driven methodologies.
  • Proven experience in verifying complex designs such as SoCs, CPUs, or communication protocols.
  • Demonstrated success in leading verification teams and delivering large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
