Soft Skills Trainer

Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Soft Skills Trainer to lead placement readiness programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The trainer will design and deliver high-impact sessions that enhance students’ communication, interpersonal, and professional skills, preparing them for campus recruitment and corporate success.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver structured modules on:Verbal and non-verbal communicationGroup discussions and personal interviewsResume writing and LinkedIn optimizationPresentation skills and professional etiquetteWorkplace behavior and emotional intelligenceConduct mock interviews and provide personalized feedbackCollaborate with placement cell and academic departments to align training with industry expectationsMentor students on career readiness, confidence building, and goal settingDevelop customized content for diverse academic streams and career pathsMaintain training records, feedback reports, and student progress dashboardsQualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate in English, Psychology, HR, Communication, or related fieldsMinimum 5 years of experience in soft skills training, corporate L&D, or student developmentCertification in soft skills, NLP, coaching, or behavioral training preferredProven experience in campus-to-corporate transition programsExcellent facilitation, public speaking, and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with placement processes and recruiter expectations will be an added advantagePreferred AttributesAbility to engage large student groups and adapt to varied learning stylesExposure to digital tools for training delivery and assessmentExperience working with engineering, management, law, or liberal arts studentsStrong understanding of current employability trends and industry needs
