We are looking for an experienced BIM Design Engineer with expertise in piping systems for irrigation networks.


This role includes designing and managing irrigation systems, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and utilizing BIM technologies to enhance design, planning, and project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in irrigation engineering, a comprehensive understanding of BIM software, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary landscape design projects.


Design and Development:


  • Convert CAD irrigation designs into 3D models, following the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Collaborate with a team of civil engineering irrigation designers.
  • Analyze relevant regulatory standards and ensure their implementation.


BIM Coordination:


  • Utilize BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or Civil 3D, to create detailed 3D models and precise designs of irrigation systems.
  • Work alongside architects and other professionals to coordinate design information across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other utilities and infrastructure components.


Project Planning and Management:


  • Oversee project design timelines to ensure adherence to schedules.


Technical Support and Quality Assurance:


  • Ensure that all irrigation designs comply with industry standards, sustainability practices, and regulatory guidelines.


Innovation and Continuous Improvement:


  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in irrigation engineering and BIM technology.
  • Identify and implement innovative practices and tools to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.


Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.


Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, or similar).


Knowledge:


  • Familiarity with environmental regulations, codes, and standards related to irrigation systems.


Soft Skills:


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving project requirements. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
  • Ensure our designs meet complaince in terms of technical and contractual requirements
  • Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • CAD & Revit experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
