Structural Integrity Management of Fixed Offshore Structures is an ongoing process for ensuring the continued fitness-for-purpose (FFP) of offshore structures. The four phases of this process are – data collection, evaluation, strategy and program development. Inspection data should be gathered and reviewed to provide recommendations for next steps like FFS (Fit for Service) and SMR (strengthening, modification and repair). As per initial data review and recommendations, detailed FFS will be performed on identified structures and provide SMR remedial actions.
Applicable to onshore / offshore platforms (Fixed platform, FPU, FPSO and FSO’s).
Expectations
1. Civil / Structural engineer with experience of working for Exploration and Production (E&P) assets. He / She must has worked with structures of Onshore / Offshore / LNG / Gas treatment facilities.
2. Engineer shall be competent to review the inspection reports, maintenance and repair records, design basis and specifications, structural drawings, design/(re)analysis reports
3. Engineer shall be able to develop the visual interface in order to provide quick overview of the platform in the register, spider graph update (e.g. results evaluation)
4. Engineer shall be competent to perform risk assessment of all anomalies, data, analysis specification obsoletes shall be highlighted in the register, with visual warning lights (e.g. metocean obsolescence, design life exceeded, marine growths beyond limit, etc.)
5. Engineer shall be able to develop integrity index file, test the improvement, and fill the final notation in Integrity Management Tool (STIMS) per platform integrity index file
6. Engineer shall be competent to create a data sheet per platform with the essential information, dimension, water depth, number of legs, weight jacket, topsides etc., and including main integrity results
7. Engineer shall be competent to perform FFS studies to review that an existing structure has adequate strength to resist the imposed assessment loads and provide SMR (strengthening, modification and repair) recommendations
8. Engineer will be focal for all technical exchanges and manage technical Interface seamlessly.
9. Engineer will propose new possible workflow, using his domain expertise and perform POC (proof-of-concepts) to give confidence to Customer
10. Engineer will perform the smooth transition of new workflow to India
