Position Overview:
Extensive experience with Kafka and AWS, including AWS MSK Kafka , AWS Lambda , API Gateway , AWS Glue , AWS Kinesis , and Terraform
We are seeking a skilled Kafka Developer with expertise in Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka) and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will help design, implement, and maintain scalable Kafka-based data pipelines and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
Monitor and optimize Kafka performance, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and manage infrastructure as code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and underlying systems.
Required Skills and Technologies:
Kafka & MSK: Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including setting up and managing clusters on Amazon MSK.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
DevOps Tools: Familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS services, particularly around data processing (e.g., S3, Lambda).
Monitoring & Logging: Knowledge of tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack for monitoring Kafka.
Data Formats: Understanding of JSON, Avro, or Protobuf for data serialization.
Version Control: Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration.
