Job Description:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Architect to join our team and lead our data architecture efforts. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data solutions that align with our business objectives and support advanced data analytics and insights.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the overall data architecture strategy and vision, collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams.
Design and implement complex data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes to support data integration, transformation, and storage.
Define data governance and security policies to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for data storage, processing, and analytics.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and other team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
Oversee the management and optimization of data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements and deliver valuable insights.
Drive data architecture initiatives and projects, ensuring successful implementation within scope, timeline, and budget.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data architecture and management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, including a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments.
Expertise in data modeling, database design, ETL processes, and data integration.
Proficiency in working with both relational and No SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft BI and SSIS
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is preferred.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security principles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Professional, AWS Certified Big Data) are advantageous.
