The Company listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on 29 January 2021 (DOCS.We are on an exciting journey to drive impactful change within our newly formed Global Indirect Procurement function. Our role is to support our colleagues to make the best commercial decisions possible for Dr. Martens, whether that be in Technology, Marketing, HR or Finance Services, or Facilities to name a few. As a Procurement Advisor in our Global Indirect Procurement team, you will: Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contracts for products, services, and suppliers Contribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performance Review and analyse contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities Determine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessments Act as a key point of contact for global stakeholders for indirect procurement activity and develop and maintain strong relationships with business units Help to plan and execute sourcing strategies that guarantee the most optimum commercial position for Dr. Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, and provide improvement initiatives where appropriate Provide regular reporting against procurement KPI’s Must-Have Experience: ~4+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education ~ Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills ~ Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements ~ Strong data collection, collation and representation skills ~ Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues. ~ Desirable skills / experience: Experience of working within a fast-moving, global retail environment Experience in multiple indirect procurement categories Excellent analytical skills particularly within Excel and/or Power BI Martens share plan ~ They never standalone but work together as a balancing act of rights and responsibilities to support how we work together at DMs. SHOW YOU CARE .
