Highlight of the engagement opportunity

  • Nature of role: Intern
  • Number of years of experience expected: 1 -3 year
  • Areas of past experience preferred: WIX Editor and Editor X, WIX Velo, Adobe Design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects), Canva/Figma, SEO tools like Google Analytics and basic HTML, CSS and Java
  • Educational qualification expected: Bachelors in Management/ Commerce/ Accounting/Computer Science
  • Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English.

Key responsibility areas:

Working closely with the Head of B2C Apps,this position requires a creative, detail-oriented website designer with a knack for digital marketing and the ability to work within WIX to design, optimize, and maintain company websites. In addition to maintaining the primary company website, the role involves creating promotional materials, supporting SEO, and optimizing user experience across web applications in our B2C suite.

  • Collaborate with the Head of B2C to design and maintain the primary website, using WIX to ensure a high-quality, visually appealing, and user-friendly interface.
  • Implement regular updates to ensure content is relevant, aligned with branding, and visually compelling.
  • Develop creative assets (e.g., banners, graphics, icons) for website and marketing campaigns, using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
  • Monitor and implement SEO best practices and maintain responsive design to enhance search engine ranking and improve website traffic.
  • Perform regular audits and updates to keep the website optimized for speed, accessibility, and user experience.

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Create and execute small-scale marketing campaigns on the website, including banners, landing pages, and promotional content to drive customer engagement.
  • Optimize landing pages and campaign visuals to ensure brand consistency and appeal, supporting lead generation efforts.
  • Analyze campaign performance through WIX analytics and provide insights to inform and improve future campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in WIX website design and no-code development.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor customizations on WIX.
  • Experience with Python for data analytics and scripting on no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to use design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Canva for creating visual assets.
  • Strong design sense and creativity to produce visually appealing websites and application interfaces.
  • Ability to create on-brand marketing visuals, banners, and interactive assets to enhance user engagement.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret website and campaign analytics.

Other important information:

  • Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
  • Period of engagement: 6 months
  • Probation period: 6 months
  • Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
  • Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.
  • Other benefits: Other employment benefits including medical insurance will be informed during the compensation discussion.

Selection process:

We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:

  • Interview: There are expected to be at least 3 rounds of interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
  • Final discussion on career and compensation: Post final selection, a separate discussion will be set up to discuss compensation and career growth. You are encouraged to seek any clarifications.

It is recommended that you prepare on some of the following aspects before the selection process:

  • Understanding of no code platforms
  • Basic understanding of SaaS products and how they work
  • Basics of performance marketing
