Project Manager, Data Engineering

Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage third-party vendors or external contractors when applicable.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
~8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
~ Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
~ Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
~ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
