Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in student counselling and a passion for helping students achieve their academic aspirations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive counselling to students regarding study options, admission requirements, and career pathways.
- Guide students in selecting suitable courses and universities based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals.
- Lead and mentor the counselling team, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Organise regular training sessions for the counselling team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Follow up with the counselling team to ensure targets are met and provide necessary support to achieve goals.
- Assist students with application processes, including documentation, admission essays, and visa applications.
- Conduct informative sessions and workshops to educate students about study abroad opportunities.
- Maintain updated knowledge of international education trends, admission policies, and visa regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and representatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in student counselling, preferably in the education consultancy sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of study abroad destinations, universities and programs (specially UK).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
