The Lead Product Designer (Individual Contributor) will be responsible for using design thinking to solve complex problems & ship high-fidelity designs for new features & prototype solutions. Single-handedly drive designs and oversee the strategic and tactical deliverables related to that project. Identifying the appropriate UX methods and tools to use depending on project constraints. Contribute to our growing design system of patterns in an effort to cultivate a cohesive look and feel, and user experience across the entire Flipkart platform. Coach, provide guidance and feedback to designers around design quality. Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI, Psychology or any other related field with minimum 8 years of experience in Product design or UX roles. Deep understanding of the design process, experience using UX prototyping tools, as well as relevant fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies to understand the constraints of the design. Extraordinary UI design abilities that can be demonstrated through current projects. Thinking in terms of design systems and reusable components. Experience in mentoring or managing a small team of designers is a plus.
