The Secondary English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English literature, creating lesson plans, developing and implementing curriculum, and assessing student progress. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and behavior. The teacher will also be responsible for providing support to students to help them achieve their academic potential and overall development.QualificationsQualified Teacher with a background in English Teaching and English LiteratureStrong Lesson Planning skills and experience in Curriculum DevelopmentAbility to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleaguesExcellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environmentBachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plusCertification in teaching or in the subject area is preferred
