About the company:
We are hiring on behalf of an India-based Webflow design and development consulting firm, Wednesday Solutions (wednesday.is). This is an onsite role in Pune.
Summary:
We are looking for a talented Product Design Lead to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience. You’ll ensure our products are intuitive, visually compelling, and aligned with user needs. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you’ll develop and refine design strategies, create wireframes and prototypes, and iterate based on feedback to deliver seamless, impactful digital experiences.
Requirements:
Understand the problem: Understand what our customers are doing for their users. What pain points are they solving?
Understand the goal: Understand what they want to achieve.
Understand the strategy: Understand their product strategy. How do they plan to achieve their goal?
Create a design strategy: Define the design direction and have a clear vision for the product.
Lead: Guide and lead a team of designers to execute the design strategy.
Learn: Learn new skills and build design practices. Encourage the team to learn new skills and share what they have learned.
Showcase: Showcase your and your team's expertise.
Experience & Competencies:
Proven expertise in visual and experience design, with a strong eye for detail.
Hands-on experience in product design, supported by a compelling portfolio.
Proficiency in web and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Minimum of 4 years in a product design role, with team management experience.
Solid understanding of design systems and meticulous attention to team deliverables.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with all stakeholders .
