Function : Product
Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of the Job is to set up control system, control structure in the bank, with control activities defined at every business level. These should include: top level reviews; appropriate activity controls for different departments or divisions; physical controls; checking for compliance with exposure limits and follow-up on noncompliance, a system of approvals and authorizations; and, a system of verification and reconciliation.
Key Deliverables:
- 2-7 Years of experience in multiple roles in banking, preferable Compliance, Operational risk, Audit or Internal Controls
- Close coordination with audit teams to ensure that all audit points are closed with satisfaction and all controls agreed work as desired.
- Coordinating Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework across the various Business and Support units.
- Performing root cause analyses on identified risk events and recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in future.
- Perform tests and measure risks, implement controls, measure their effectiveness. Monitoring should be part of the daily activities of the bank including periodic evaluations of the overall internal control process. The frequency of monitoring different activities of a bank should be determined by considering the risks involved and the frequency and nature of changes occurring in the operating environment.
- Monitor and act on any KPI / KRI adverse trends that arise based on Transaction Monitoring and internal and external alerts
- Review policies of the Bank and risk associated in arm’s length agreement.
Qualification : Graduation/Post- Graduation in any discipline.
