Location : Mumbai - WFOExperience : 3-6 Years of ExperienceMandatory Skills: Manual Testing & Automation TestingPosition Overview:As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing the quality assurance activities for our e-commerce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in test planning, test execution, and basic automation knowledge will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and stability of our e-commerce systems.Key Responsibilities:● Lead the planning, design, and implementation of test strategies and test plans for our e-commerce platform, considering both functional and non-functional requirements. ● Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define clear and comprehensive test cases and acceptance criteria.● Conduct thorough and systematic testing of our Database, web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.● Utilize basic automation knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the testing process.● Performdatabase testing and have a strong understanding of basic SQL and database concepts. ● Monitor and analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.● Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and staying up to date with emerging testing methodologies and tools.● Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring the successful resolution and prevention of future incidents.● Participate in release management activities, coordinating with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and successful software deployments.Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.● Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications.● Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.● Knowledgeinbasic automation and the ability to automate repetitive tasks.● Experiencein API Testing using tools● Solidknowledge of basic SQL and database concepts for performing database testing.● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.● BasicKnowledgewith performance testing and load testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner, is highly desirable.● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate risks and issues effectively.● Strongattention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.● Provenability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality software.● Pluspoints if you have worked on product based company with preferred domain of ecommerce
