As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and developing effective test strategies to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluating product specifications and developing comprehensive test plans to ensure defect-free delivery.
- Collaborating with development teams to design and implement automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools.
- Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and escalating critical issues to development teams.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance in the capital markets domain.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with native exchanges like Nasdaq, Eurex, Euronext, LSE, CME or exchange protocols like ITCH/OUCH, Millennium, SOLA/SAIL, Optiq, Genium.
- Hands-on experience with Unix-like platforms and scripting languages like Python.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The following skills are highly desirable:
- Working knowledge of FIX protocol.
- Familiarity with major programming languages like Java, C++.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium.
- NCFM certifications in Derivatives, Capital Markets, etc.
- ISTQB QA certifications.
Broadridge offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
