Job Title: Industrial Automation Engineer – PCS7 Location: (Mumbai) Department: Engineering / Automation Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIA Portal, PCS 7, WinCC platforms, and industrial communication protocols, along with a solid understanding of process control and instrumentation. PLC, SCADA & HMI Development: Design, develop, and program automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400, S7-1200/1500, PCS 7) with knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), FBD, and CFC. Configure and integrate field devices and systems using Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and OPC UA. Troubleshoot and resolve communication and device integration issues across control networks. Process Automation & Control: Collaborate with process and instrumentation teams to ensure control strategies align with plant operations. Project Execution & Documentation: Lead and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing). Conduct risk assessments, manage on-site commissioning, and provide post-installation support. Required Skills & Experience: PLC Platforms: Programming Languages: Tools: TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, WinCC Engineering, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (preferred) Ability to work independently and within project teams Strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering ~3+ years of experience in Siemens-based industrial automation projects ~ Experience across sectors like pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, chemicals, or utilities ~
