PVHardware is seeking a QC Supplier Management Tech in India to ensure and control the quality of the manufacturing processes and processes associated with the operation of the Business Group.

PVH - PVHardware is a provider of innovative solar tracking solutions for the global utility-scale solar market, including trackers, fixed structures and SCADA system. Yet, we are the third largest solar tracker supplier in the world and aiming to be the leader in the industry

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.
  • Master/MTech in Quality Engineering from premier institutes.
  • ISO 9001 training and internal auditing.
  • Fluent in english (B2/C1).
  • Proven experience in solar industries.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Basic Level: Lean Manufacturing, Laboratory Instrumentation Management
  • Intermediate level: knowledge of materials (industrial steels) and welding
  • Advanced level: Microsoft Office, Core Tools (8d, control plans, ...)

Desirables :

  • Experience in supplier approval processes.
  • Knowledge of solar trackers.
  • Knowledge of industrial electronics.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the applicable regulations required of suppliers both nationally and internationally.
  • Communicate product and specific requirements of our customers that need to be passed on to suppliers.
  • Conduct audits and supplier approval visits. Plus the follow-up of the action plans derived from the result of that exercise
  • Coordinate periodic third-party inspections.
  • Review the approval of the first samples from suppliers
  • Supervise manufacturing quality control processes in national and international suppliers, including among others: existence of manufacturing standards, weld approval, inspection plans and records, calibrations, internal tests and, where appropriate, sampling for third-party tests, certifications, inspection of raw materials and final product.
  • Organize plans for receipt and factory inspection of third-party material, components, or products. Ensure quality and traceability and keep the Inspection Control Plan updated at the reception
  • Identify and analyze production issues where suppliers have a significant impact, proposing corrective actions and actively engineering for any deviations.
  • Supervise the removal or return of non-compliant units from suppliers.
  • Perform opening and monitoring of internal NC/AC/AM (8D's) and monitoring of indicators
  • Claim information from suppliers, including quality certificates, delivery notes, etc.
  • Supervise document management. Claiming information from suppliers
  • Carry out audits and continuous improvement actions in a supplier situation under an escalation process (annual supplier audit plan)
  • Coordinate and prepare know-how documents and incorporation of lessons learned
  • Perform: evaluation of quality factors for continuous evaluation of suppliers and ensure final communication for each of them through the purchasing department
  • Ensure the operational processes defined for the management of the environmental system and waste management that are within its competence
