Job Description
  • Community Building and Engagement:
  • Actively participate in forum discussions, answering queries, and providing valuable insights.
  • Moderate discussions, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
  • Organize events, contests, and challenges to foster interaction and engagement.
  • Mentor and support new members, addressing their concerns and offering guidance.
  • Content Creation and Curation:
  • Develop high-quality content, such as blog posts, articles, and videos, on various study abroad topics.
  • Curate relevant content from external sources to keep the community informed.
  • Encourage user-generated content, such as feed posts, groups and forum discussions.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using forum platforms and social media tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
  • Ability to use analytics tools to track community metrics and user behavior.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with community members.
  • Ability to empathize with students and understand their needs.
  • Problem-solving skills to address issues and conflicts within the community.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community management or social media.
  • Strong understanding of the study abroad process and the challenges faced by international students.
  • Passion for helping others and building strong communities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with online forums and social media platforms (e.g., Reddit, Quora, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva) to create visually appealing content.
