This role is ideal for someone with deep virtualization expertise , familiarity with industry standards, and the ability to work independently in both embedded/edge virtualization and cloud-hosted environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and enhance Virtio devices (virtio-audio, virtio-gpu, virtio-vsock, virtio-net).Contribute to R&D efforts and influence virtualization standards through innovation and best practices.Collaborate with industry bodies like OASIS Virtio Technical Committee or similar to align with global standards.Work on cloud-native and containerized environments leveraging AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.Architect and implement solutions from high-level requirements with minimal supervision.Actively contribute to open-source communities (QEMU, Linux kernel Virtio subsystems, etc.).Required Skills:Strong expertise in Virtio development and specification internals.Exposure to standards bodies (OASIS Virtio TC or similar) or upstream contributions.Experience with cloud and container platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows in virtualized environments.Ability to work with high autonomy in a senior/independent role .Nice-to-Have:Public speaking experience or participation in technical conferences.Contributions to open-source projects .Experience authoring technical proposals or influencing industry standards.
