We’re hiring a Founding Director – Sales to drive global business development at SkillsCapital — an AI-powered platform transforming how companies hire enterprise tech talent. You won’t be selling software or generic services. You’ll be leading strategic conversations with consulting firms, enterprises, and system integrators to help them access vetted, on-demand tech talent through our AI-Powered Talent Cloud. This is not a typical sales job. It’s a founding role that combines strategic thinking, individual contribution, and high-ownership execution. You’ll work directly with the founding team, take full charge of growth in a region or segment, and scale a predictable, high-quality revenue engine. # ; About SkillsCapital SkillsCapital is one of the fastest-growing AI-powered platforms for global tech hiring. In just our first year, we’ve: Achieved strong product-market fit with global clients Delivered talent across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and the Middle East Built a profitable business with zero external funding Are set to cross a $2M+ run rate in the this quarter Scaled from 0 → 1 and 1 → 20 — now building the motion to go from 20 → 100 Our leadership team includes alumni from Wharton, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIIT Hyderabad, and London Business School, and senior leaders from IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, Trilogy, and ESW Capital. # ; What You’ll Own Own the entire sales lifecycle — from outbound to close — in your assigned region or vertical Identify and engage decision-makers at consulting firms, system integrators, enterprises, and startups Articulate how our AI-powered platform solves key talent pain points and offers unmatched speed and quality Collaborate with delivery and sourcing teams to craft tailored proposals Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Help shape the GTM strategy and continuously optimize for performance Drive the motion from early traction to scalable revenue — with full ownership and autonomy ✅ Who Should Apply ~2 to 5 years of experience in IT staffing, enterprise talent sales, or B2B service sales ~ Strong track record of closing mid-to-large deals and achieving targets ~ Excellent communication and consultative selling skills ~ Strategic thinker who can operate independently, but also roll up sleeves to execute ~ Excited about working in a fast-paced, high-trust startup ~ Bonus: experience selling to international clients in the U.S., U.K., or Europe # ; Compensation Minimal base salary to begin with Highly attractive incentive structure — your monthly compensation will be directly tied to sales performance For top performers, total earnings can range from INR 2L to 10L+ per month, depending on performance. This role is designed for high ownership, high accountability individuals who want to directly impact growth and be rewarded for outcomes.
